A Florida native from Tampa who now lives in Punta Gorda, Dr. Tufts earned his Bachelor of Science in biomedical sciences at Auburn University and his medical degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a fellowship in minimally invasive, foregut, and bariatric surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
He believes in working with patients to improve their health and is committed to personalized, high-quality care in a friendly, relaxed setting.
